Who we are

Nigeria Is Back is an independent citizens' project that helps people in Nigeria see who leads public offices. It is not owned, operated, sponsored, or endorsed by any government, ministry, agency, political party, or public official.

Where the information comes from

We compile details from official websites, gazettes, published appointments, and other public records, and from officials who send us their own details. Offices and office holders change often. Information may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Always confirm with the official channel before you rely on any detail, especially for legal, financial, or urgent matters.

Personal contact details

A personal WhatsApp number or personal email appears on a profile only when the official has shared it with us or has made it public themselves, and we have recorded the source. Every profile has a slot for these details. If the slot says "Not shared publicly", we do not have permission to show one.

How to use contacts

Use any contact respectfully and for genuine civic reasons. Do not use this directory for spam, harassment, threats, scams, impersonation, bulk messaging, or any unlawful purpose. We may remove details and report misuse.

Corrections and removal

If something is wrong, or you want your details corrected or removed, use the report form or email nigeriaisback@protonmail.com. Officials can also claim their profile.
